The New Zealand Rowing Foundation is a registered charity with the primary objective to assist in the promotion, fostering and encouragement of the sport within New Zealand.

Tax Deduction
Because New Zealand Rowing Foundation is a registered charity you may be entitled to a tax credit or a tax deduction. If you donate as an individual you can claim a tax credit equivalent to 33.33% of any donations you make of $5 or more. To submit a tax credit claim you must attach your donation receipts.
Companies may be able to claim a tax deduction for donations. The total amount of your company’s donations should be included in your company income tax return. Whether you are an individual or a company, we will send you a receipt each time you make a donation.

Bequests
Leaving a bequest is a great way to make a positive and long lasting contribution to the sport of rowing in New Zealand.
You may wish to leave a gift or bequest to the New Zealand Rowing Foundation Endowment Fund in your will. By making a bequest, you will help build a lasting financial legacy that supports and strengthens the future of rowing in New Zealand well beyond your lifetime.
Income generated by the Fund will be made available to the Foundation to support programmes and pathways for developing rowers at both Junior and Under 23 level. Each year the Foundation contributes what it can to initiatives that enable young athletes to continue their development in the sport, and with your support we aim to grow this impact further.
When making or renewing your will, or establishing a family trust you could discuss your wish to make a gift to the New Zealand Rowing Foundation with your lawyer to talk about possible options.
